A couple of weeks ago I spent a day with Chantal (and Bianca) for a meet/eat post which I'll be sharing next week. Before we started baking for the cutest tea party ever, Chantal whipped up a batch of these guys. They are zingy and perfect for this springy weather we are having here in Australia, and are sure to become a staple once summer actually hits. She was kind enough to share the recipe with us so enjoy!
Oh, and a friendly warning: please don't look at the gif below for too long - you may get drunk.
Strawberry Lillet Fizz
250ml sparkling water
200ml Lillet Blanc
25ml preserved lemon syrup (or elderflower cordial)
Juice of one lemon
1 punnet of strawberries, sliced
Mint and lemon slices to serve
Mix all ingredients in a 1 litre-capacity jug and fill with ice cubes to cool.
To serve, pour into tumblers and garnish with mint sprigs and slices of lemon. Best served immediately so it doesn’t fizzle out.
Makes 1 litre of fizzy fun!
