Here's the thing you guys. If I can't have my christmas tree up the minute I smell merriment in the air, I'm gonna FILL the house with wreaths. I mean, I've never heard of any no wreaths before 1st of December rule (and if you have, please keep it to yourself).
So to start us off, I went for a bit of a forage around the garden and house and whipped up three really quick and easy wreaths to tide us over until we can get the tree out.
Wreath 1 Instead of using a wreath frame, I just weaved some dried foliage through this garden lattice to form a circular shape before going to town and filling in any gaps with flowers and succulents, using floral tape to keep the shape. It was my intention to keep this wreath really low maintenance so that it could just sit in the garden looking festive all season but I couldn't resist that white bougainvillea. I'll just replace it with something unkillable in a few days.
Wreath 2 These tiny wreaths are literally just a small branch with it's two ends tied together with string. They look pretty sweet at the table, washi taped en masse on the wall or you can tie some at different lengths to a branch to make a festive mobile.
Wreath 3 And finally, the fairy light wreath. Or, the exceptionally lazy guy's wreath. Just loop your string of lights a few times in a circular shape and secure with some string or tape. Donesies.
I'd love to see your wreaths - be sure to show me if you make or buy one this year okay? Especially if it's edible! Actually, if it's edible, you better send it to me for closer 'inspection'.
