At the risk of sounding really really lame, I think I left a little piece of my heart over in Hobart. I well and truly fell in love with the gorgeous cottages, the winter blooms, the FOOD (more on this in Part 2), and the charming countryside. And the rain made the colours just that much more beautiful. It's pretty safe to say my husband nailed it this year with my birthday present.
We visited: the MONA, Salamanca Markets, the top of Mount Wellington, Tahune Air Walk in the Huon Valley, the Cascade Brewery and at nights we walked slowly along the waterfront under the lit up trees. Why are you so magical Hobart?? It was really hard to pick which photos to put up here because I took so flippin many, but I think these sum it up. As mentioned, I have compiled Part 2 to be all about the food because it really does deserve it's very own post. Enjoy!
PS don't forget Popsicle Week is on this week! I'll be back in a couple of days with my contribution - any guesses what it is??
