Rosemary Pistachio Bark

Can I do a teensy bit of bragging real quick? If you say yes, I'll show you how to make super easy chocolate bark..

Okay, please read this. Yep. Whaaaa?

Ez, super amazing blogger from one of my favourite blogs Creature Comforts, featured this little blog and said the nicest things that made me blush really hard. I want to frame that post. Actually I think I might. Thank you Ez. And thank you to everyone who came over from there to hang out.

Okay, I'll move on now. And as promised, I have a little secret to make really pretty and quick bark. You know, for those moments that you have very specific cravings and the supermarket will only satisfy basic confectionary needs.

First step is to arrange toppings over a chocolate block (on a lined baking tray) while preheating the oven to about 75 degrees C. I used rosemary and pistachio because I'm going through a herb-y phase.

Next step is to put the chocolate into the oven for 3-5 minutes until it has just started to soften. Be careful not to leave it in too long because your block will lose shape and the toppings might even toast.

Final step is to take it out of the oven and leave it to harden again. Donesies.

This would make for a really pretty little gift, don't you think?
