My dad asked me yesterday where I find recipe ideas for my blog and I answered that they are mostly inspired by the places I go to eat. Case in point: this salad. It is a direct translation of something I read on the menu while breakfasting at Kepos St Kitchen over the weekend. I couldn't go past the soft baked eggs (I can NEVER go past the baked eggs anywhere) but this salad stuck in my mind and I just had to try it when I got home. And it will be one of my future go to snacks as it is pretty much winter denial on a plate.
Where do you get recipe inspiration? Pinterest? Cook books? Which ones are your favourite?
- Seeds from 1/4 Pomegranate
- Leaves from 2 Sprigs of Mint
- 8 Medium Strawberries, quatered
- 3 tbs Natural Yoghurt
- 1 tsp Rosewater
Add rosewater to yoghurt and combine rest of the ingredients. Eat.
